Designed to provide an effective fire extinguishing system for commercial kitchens. Consists of a series of specially designed nozzles equipped with heat sensitive detectors. Includes a control panel equipped with various controls required to meet NFPA #13. A liquid filled quartz bulb explodes when the detector senses a temperature rise. A fine water mist is generated which surrounds the flames. The oxygen supply is depleted and the fire is effectively extinguished.
Upon activation, the control panel, when hooked up to the gas solenoid valve and shunt trip on the circuit breaker, shuts down the gas and electric supply to all appliances protected by the system. Control panel can be connected to the building fire alarm annunciation system. The control panel is UL Listed (File #EX 3543 - "Attachments to Sprinkler Systems") |
